With a used iPhone 6S+ I have been flying my Spark with the Autopilot app. To keep the already set FCC mode, I have always started and landed with GO4. Flying was done flawlessly with Autopilot.

Now I have bought an iPad 9.7 (2018) as I wanted larger screen with everything easier to see. Started and landed with GO4 as I used to. The 4th time to change battery this way and with the Spark hanging 5 meters up it could not connect to GO4 again. The sticks gave no response at all. Killed the app but still no response from the sticks. New start of GO4, same result. Nothing. Then I switched off the RC to restart it. Before the green light came on, the Spark initiated to autoland and I catched it by hand and flipped over to stop the motors.

I am now wondering on two things:
Could it be that the iPad, although it is on DJIs list of compatible devices, did not work properly? This procedure had worked more than 100 times with the old iPhone.

Is there a better way to connect again or should I now always do the change of apps close by at just half a meter above ground?
