Good question! This was a competition entry which had to be submitted in IGTV, a medium totally foreign to me. In fact, I'm not a great Instagrammer either, mainly because I hate the tiny image format (and video too). Video is even worse when landscape, being so small. So I investigated what format maximises the screen format ... and it is portrait! So I picked footage which can be best cropped into portrait. Bit it was not easy!
