My Depth Perception Sucks!

My biggest takeaway from this is to better plan a video session by flying the drone directly along the planned path using obstacle avoidance (instead of guessing) to determine the correct height to fly, then you can safely fly the planned mission.

I've found that most people over 65 (myself included) are allergic to ladders.

The only ladder I use now a days has 3 steps to it and a handrail. But I'm still a kid at heart

Wonder if prop guards with legs would have helped or hindered (more). I never fly without mine now.

IMO prop guards are more trouble and perfect to snag on a limb.

so not to digress to far from the depth perception topic . when flying line of sight i think wow the spark is really getting out there only to discover while watching the vid later the spark only went about a 1/4 of the distance i thought it did.
