New owner - is Litchi worth it?

Is the Litchi app worthwhile? What are the advantages over the DJI go4 app?

I don't fly a lot but I have had fun playing with Litchi. It adds a dimension to the hobby that I like.

Short answer: Yes

Search the net/forum for info
Most pilots use it for preplanned missions and a couple of unique flightmodes (course lock and home lock (aka headless mode))
Also VR-mode and auto-start video..

every pennies worth unless you have to try and claim on care refresh thats a sore spot i have with dji

dji wouldn't cover my lost Spark under warranty because I was using Litchi at the time. Does dji refresh also not cover damage incurred when using Litchi?

It depends on how you fly I guess. I use it on preplanned flights around landmarks I want film. I like it because you can set the mission and hit go and watch the drone do it’s thing - like being your own spotter. A little bit of a learning curve but easy to use. I really like it. Also my eyes aren’t best at a distance with a small drone so I don’t have to try maneuver when I can’t really tell if it’s time to turn or not. Makes for smoother footage. For me anyway.

Buying Litchi was the best thing i ever did for my drones. It lets the Spark do things that would be impossible with dji GO. The only flight app installed on my devices is Litchi.
