Flying a drone requires awareness of where you are and where it is. Case in point, Airdrie, Alberta is a "No Fly Zone" due to its proximity to Calgary International Airport. Many commercial jets overfly and a wayward drone sucked into an engine could kill hundreds. I had my older one there and only took it up a few metres to operate it, far below any aircraft (if a jet was that low, it's game over anyway). If you buy one, obey the rules - they are there for a good reason.
