Newbie question... Need confirmation on Heliport question.

I've been searching for the correct official answer...

Do you have to request clearance from a heliport that does NOT have a tower?


(My problem, is that the tree times I've called, I've reached an answering service twice, and when I did get thru, the person had no idea, and the guy who would, is on vacation.) . Only open 7-4 Monday to Friday haha.

What would you suggest the correct path forward?

I have a towerless airport near me too. They offer a website to submit your plans and faa uas number. If I were you I would keep trying to call until you reach some one and ask them what they would prefer.
