Can you still use your spark even if your on airplane mode or you don't have any signal on your phone? like if you are going to visit other country and you don't have any carrier on the particular country, can you still fly your drone without it?

The GPS receiver is located inside of the Spark. So, whatever you're doing on your mobile device and/or remote controller won't affect it.
