Hello

I am new here and since 3 weeks happy owner of a great SPARK. I fly with RC and phone, but sometimes its laggy on the phone (live stream). I read a lot about OTG cables that i have decied to buy one. Trying to let it work failed for me. There was no response on the phone, only a Orange led (charge phone battery up) lighted up for 0,5 sec. No message, no connection, nothing. So i tried another cable, also the same prob. Is it not possible anymore??
My Phone is a Xperia XZS Sony.

Also the order of connection could be important. Seems that last is to insert in the RC.

Just launch dji go first, then power up remote and then connect the cable, should work.

Check your phone settings for USB developer or something along those lines.

I vaguely remember a thread here in the past about switching something in the phone to make it a data transfer port and not just for charging.

I can't remember if I switched something in my phone but when I use my cable, I have the square USB adapter that came with my Samsung Galaxy s7 and the cables I have work fine on my Android and mini4.

There's nothing special about my cables except the mini4 is a lightning cable, if that's special.

Yea! Got it working. Just got an 3th,new adapter from the store in my city and with my own load cable from sony it works! Yeeha!!!! Thank u all...!

I used to use OTG until I figured out Bluetooth had to be turned off, zero lag over wifi now and no risk of pulling the cable by accident.

Ok, does that have the same result as OTG cable? And, out of this: there is no option to test the Spark once (one time) the altitude above the 500m,right? Its locked.

Correct, can't see any difference in the feed between OTG and WiFi with BT off.
