OTG cable with nexus 6p help please...

Hi All... Brand new to flying. Bought a spark, had it two days and love it so far. The video feed is lagged, delayed and intermittent. I bought a cable but all it does is try to charge the remote from my phone's battery!? The notification shows a list of how I'd like the cable to act but I can't change any of the settings on it. Is this a known problem with Nexus, Android or new firmware??
Any help appreciated. Dave

Revert your cable. The OTG side should go to the RC. Then the RC will charge only little your phone.
