Been thinking of detouring through Thallon to film these, they are very well done.
I’ve done a few flights of the painted silo sites in several states.
Mostly with the Mavic Pro, but one with the Spark.

Is this something particular to Aus or is it a worldwide thing? I’ve never seen it in the UK but it seems such an obvious thing to do to brighten a rather large piece of farming kit.

Not sure but it’s very popular here in Oz.
Usually a town or grain company will do it for attracting visitors or company PR.

I’ll post one I’ve done with the Spark later tonight.

As twickers14 has stated, I live in the Midwest USA with farms and I haven't seen any painted other than the brand of grain being stored.

Just drab looking galvanized metal or concrete.
