I traveled to WV this weekend and got a few shots. The pic of the dam is kind of dark to to the suns position and not having any filters for the lens.

That is when you fly to the other side and catch the angle pointing back at you

The Spark is quite capable of accomplishing that task.
Just do yourself a favor and train as much as you can with a non-GPS craft.
Like the SYMA X5C or X8C - what I started on.
That way if something goes wrong you have a better chance of getting it back.
And to build your confidence.

I was nervous about flying over the water to get the shot with the sun behind the spark. I haven't ventured over water yet

Just fly height above water. Understand due to mirror surface mess with the visual sensor. If go height enough then spark will rely on gps.
