This is the ONE I bought from Amazon. Yes the protective film was removed on both sides & the gold side facing out towards "Sparkie". Both top and bottom holes over the controller antenna. I do not have a restriction on distance but I do have it on height (300m) So I'm wondering if it has to do with the FCC / CE & 5.8/2.4 MHz. Again it will not allow me to change but I did notice it jumping between the two. I use a Sony XZ1 Android P OS with the DJIGO4 app and the DJI Controller. It's OTG and both controller and drone have the latest updates from DJI assistant run by a Windows 10 desktop. I have an iPhone 6 plus coming just to see if it makes a difference. I would be pretty pee'd off if it does as I read that the new DJI Crystal uses the Android OS......
