I've been wondering why when I pitch or roll the craft the AC symbol (red arrow) in the attitude indicator would move to off to one side up to 90+ degrees from its true direction of travel. Turns out my phone's compass is very susceptible to the magnetic interference coming from the hall effect of the RC’s control sticks. I tried flipping my phone end for end and placed the home button on my right and it helped the problem tremendously. Only goes off a few degrees when applying stick now and I'm more than happy with that. Thought I'd mention my troubles in case it helps someone else out there with a similar issue.
