Hello, all.

Before I had the Spark fully operational, I decided that I would hit the fly button on the app. (brave move for not knowing what I was doing). The aircraft was sitting on a four foot table out on the deck. Instead of going up 4 feet, as I understand it would do from the ground, it went up 8 feet, out of reach for me. Man, I was in trouble.

Now here is the strange part. I closed my eyes and hit the RTH button on the app. I thought that it would go up 20 or 30 meters, which would have been a disaster as there were trees just off the deck. Instead, it landed from flight without going up.
Is that normal? I was glad it came right down.

It's normal if the Spark was within 65 feet of the home point.

Here's the real deal for the Spark:

RTH Triggered
-------------------

< 3m -> Land

> 3m but < 20m with "RTH at Current Altitude" option:
- Disabled(default) -> Land
- Enabled -> Raise at 2.5m (if needed), then RTH

> 20m
Height < Failsafe Altitude -> Raise at Failsafe Altitude then RTH
Height > Failsafe Altitude -> RTH

Careful if > 100m, Obstacle Avoidance is disabled.

That should make things a little clearer :)
