Double check when fitting new battery, hear the click, then give a gentle tug.
Think that will do the trick. Safe flying.
No one will say, I crashed my spark because I was in a rush and did not check the battery connection.
It's a pretty safe bet that Spark 2.0 will have a top-loading battery (like the Mavic Pro) or slot-loading (like the Tello). DJI is aware of the issue and needs to reassure consumers that it's completely fixed.
I heard the engineer that designed the Spark's current battery mechanism is working the fryer at McDonald's now. And the guy who approved the original tiny locking tabs mysteriously disappeared.
