Signal loss

Hi guys, any idea why my drone loses signal at 80m high and 100m away? Does it have anything to do with the controller? Cheers

Probably connection interference, try to fly in areas with less WiFI hubs or electrical discharges and such. Please don't get too complacent just because you have RTH, try attaching a tracker to your drone aswell if you're flying in such areas that disrupt the signal. There are a lot of good trackers out there but I suggest you use the trackimo or Loc8ter lite, trackimo weights in at 40g but has better connectivity for me while the Loc8ter lite weighs in at 6g which is probably the lightest tracker for drones right now.

Thanks, I have flown in a few different spots. In town and out in the country and the same thing happens?

Do you have the antennas pointing in the drones direction, with the flat length aimed at it. Not the tip of antenna.

Sometimes the greatest source of interference is yourself...

Turn off wifi and bluetooth on your phone (airplane mode is best). If wearing a smart watch turn it completely off.

A parabolic antenna boosters will give additional range and steadier signal once RF interference is eliminated.

as for the trakimo as suggested earlier, isn't that a bluetooth device??
therefore a no-no

You may want to direct this to the DJI Forum and open a case with them if your problem continues.
