I'll be traveling to a location where there will be 100% blackout for the solar eclipse. I'll be out in the middle of nowhere near no cities, etc. Does anyone have any good ideas on where to point my camera? Obviously I'm not pointing it at the sun/moon. Should I point it east? West? Straight down? Thoughts? It sounds like the full eclipse lasts 2 1/2 minutes so I'll send the drone up a few minutes early to get a good height.

Will the Spark even be able to look "up" to the eclips ? Not sure how high the sun will be during the eclips?

My advice is to just watch the eclipse and not play with any toys, otherwise you'll miss it. ;)

Since the eclipse will last 2:30 where I'll be the Spark will last much longer. I'll be sending it up early. Same with the time lapse on the GoPro.

I got the shot I wanted! Rigged the controller in "tripod" mode with a wire tie and had it slow spin the whole totality of the eclipse!
