Hello, I had a crash / runaway situation with my sparky last week, I was flying near a lake Laguna larga, I took out my sparky to take a group Photo, when I tried to take off i remember getting a interference error so I moved to the middle of the grass instead of the parking lot, the error went away and waited for RTH point lock and took off.

I got the group picture with the lake as a backdrop with no problems, then I proceeded to do a dronie in the lake side, while I was trying to position the sparky to do it I started to get choppy video and loss of control and a high wind velocity error also, I lost sight of the drone since it started flying sideways and ended up in the side of the hill.

Flight log has been uploaded here: DJI Flight Log Viewer - PhantomHelp.com

ANy insights of why this hapened and how to prevent it from happening again will be appreciated.

Luckly the sparky survived with just a broken arm, I´m planning to change the body case instead of epoxying it.

THnaks

Vinny

Via 'FRAP'& CsvView, the logs show compass errors at engine start & then the GPS has a weak signal. The home point is recorded during flight at 10.8 seconds - away from the take-off point? Finally magnetic interference is shown in the logs & then it disconnects.
Do you have the flight log from Spark via DJI Assistant? The *.dat file, not the black box. It will include more accurate flight data vs the DJI Go app data.
