Spark loosing connection - Ipad mini4

Since I'm connecting to controler with android via wifi, I can use only 5,8GHz between rc and ac. I leave that on auto. But try to do certain tricks before installing the app. Unless you have concerns related with warranty or not strictly obeying dji. According to this warning on your screen you have allready done that.

So the popup error From the screen capture I posted has nothing to do with setting the wifi manually. So the question still stands what caused that to popup?

In my case it is there due to moccation app trick. To be in fcc. To be honest, I don't know why is there in your case.

Maybe I’m missing something but how was he getting WiFi out there in the middle of nowhere? Or was that when he was using the OTG cable?
I fly with OTG cable only and I’ve had some cables that work fine while flying my Spark but the same cable will work intermittently while flying my Mavic Air.
Also, when I would use WiFi I would set it on auto and never tinker with any WiFi settings beyond that.
Was it mentioned where he was plugging the OTG cable in on the controller side?
