Stavkyrkje - Kaupanger Norway

This summer visited Norway and the little town Kaupanger. Nice Stavkyrkje to see that is the biggest in the Sogn og Fjordane region. Been built in 1150.

Just some impressions here kept flying to a minimum not to disturb the silence you experience there :0

What an amazing building, no shingles or roofing but still over 500 years old (I'm sure it's been restored, but still an interesting construction method). Thanks for sharing.

Few years ago went to Borgund - Norway without a drone ... that one is even more impressive if you ask me ... real dark wood and full of little details. Only got few pictures of that
