taken off from your Palm

when taking off from your palm how or when is the home point set ? , and is R T H your Palm at four feet off the ground ..

Hi there,
i start all the components (AC,RC...), set the Homepoint and then start from the palm of the hand. Never had any problems with this way to fly.
When landing - in the palm of hands also.

Home point is recorded upon takeoff and it is the surface bellow it. Your hand is away from drone when it is hand launched.

Don't forget if you do NOT get confirmation of the RTH on screen then you must register it manually.

In the app, click in the top bar on the right (on the homepoint icon). When the menu opens, in general, click on the set home point to aircraft location. You will get a confirmation (“the home point has been updated, please check it on the map”)

If any help I’d add that when palm launchingvthe drone is in gesture mode. This stopped me from switching to video! Hence when in the air switch to standard mode (not gesture) and you can switch freely to video. Took me a few flights to figure out that the Spark wasn’t faulty!
