Anza Borrego Badlands - Ribbons of rolling terrain (mud/rock layers) adjacent to serpentine desert wash captured very late with only minutes left for "Golden Hour" as sun shines under storm clouds.

Image by DJI Spark cropped and resized to 1920x1080 from standard 180-degree panorama.

Beautiful shot! The way it's lit up against the dark sky - awesome!

Hi McCloud, thanks for the comment. I normally I try to be out flying just before sundown due to the warm lighting and long shadows that help bring out the relief in terrain as well as the warm colors. This particular day initially didn't seem to be very good because of the cloud filled sky but luckily the sun hit some clear sky at the western horizon as it was setting providing a few minutes of pretty awesome conditions.

Thanks again...Have a great weekend!
