Using old phone for display

I have an old iPhone 6 +, that I want to use for a display. Does anyone know the best way to get this ready? Should I get it a prepaid sim card so it can download maps or....just activate it with my sim and use it without an internet connection? Right now it’s locked to AT&T but I’m sure I could get it unlocked, if there is a better/best prepaid way to go.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

My iPhone 6plus was giving me a cpu at max warning, so I’ve upgraded it. It would occasionally crash as a result

Before heading out to fly, you could just cache the maps in DJI GO like this.

Thanks, I’ll look into that. I plan on taking it in soon to get the battery replaced. I’m hoping that will speed it back up, after apples announcement a couple of weeks ago.
