What’s this for

Hi everyone just wondering what this little usb c port is doing on the side of the charging dock
It’s under a rubber flap
What is it for

I learned that it is for any updates DJI may send out for the charger.

Since I've had my Spark since July 2017, I have never received or heard of any update needed.

It's there to upgrade the firmware on the charging hub. DJI hasn't released any updates for it, so it really cannot be used for anything right now.

Ok thanks I thought I could plug a micro usb in there and charge it up that would be amazing for traveling. Maybe Dji should consider that for future drones

DJI thought it was a good idea too -- they already offer a portable charging station for the Spark.



Kinda doubt they will cannibalize their own sales by building this feature into the standard 3-battery charging hub
