Another opinion...

Some "rules" are made to be broken -- his top photo is a great example. When shooting a landscape where symmetry is a prime feature the Rule of Thirds isn't necessarily the best option.



Putting the horizon dead center adds to the impact of the symmetry: blue half above, green half below, white line of clouds separating the two perfectly.

Great composition. I love it. Keep on breaking those "rules"and posting
