What am I doing wrong

I am still having problems posting videos from my Spark Drone. I can load them on to Facebook etc.

Photos are no problem please help what am I doing wrong.????

I think you need to upload them to You Tube first. Try that.

I post them to my youtube channel, then just copy/paste the url here. It shows here like this:

I think I can also upload them to my web site, then put the url here. Let's try:

Well, I guess posting a link to my web site just gets you a link to click.

I see where you insert photos, but for videos it seems to be asking for a URL.

Photos may be directly uploaded, but not video.

As suggested by Tentoes , upload to YouTube, copy / paste the URL in your post and it will automatically change to a thumbnail when you post the message.

The server fear is that huge videos will be posted and eat all of the disk space. So photos upload directly and videos require a link.

Yeah for sure, online server storage gets out of hand and video streaming is bandwidth heavy plus load on cpus for conversions. Not cheap to host online video for a popular site with an ever increasing archive that doesn't get rotated or eventually deleted. YT/Vimeo is the way to go.
