What's the best way/app for creating Tiny planets and inverts?

Hi guys, what's the best app you've found to create tiny planets?
I did these yesterday when it was getting dark so didn't turn out so well. I used this app.

The video is great but I would export from ICE as a tiff rather than a lossy jpeg
