When flying in dense bush

So another question boys and girls. I have googled it but no real answer.
Where I’m flying is dense bush so my questions are.
1. I’m only getting 4 Sats in the bush due to over head tree coverage so it’s flying in Atti mode, my concerns are that I don’t have a return to home set so if it suddenly picks up 12 plus sats does will my spark have a heart attack and go out of Atti mode and return to the last home point or will it keep current path and control.
2. If I lose signal etc will it just park in its current position till it gets signal again? (With no gps signal)
3. If I fly it out past a water fall (30m high) will it drop altitude to the few meters I was before I go off the water fall, as in descend to the base of the fall or maintain its current altitude.?
This vid I did quickly, no gps signal and in Atti mode, just don’t want a fly away if it suddenly gets gps signal.
Thanks in advance

When the Spark is flying in ATTI mode, the only difference is that it will not be able to hold its horizontal position. That means it will drift with the wind when you let go of the sticks. It will hold its vertical position in any mode (even when flying over the edge of a waterfall).

To answer the first two, it will have no noticeable difference when it switches from ATTI to GPS other than being a bit more stable. And for the second it'll just sit tight and wait for master's call again.

I don’t think it sets an automatic home point before is has a gps lock.
With no gps, mine uses opti mode and has a max altitude of 5 meters.
It would be safer if it could be locked in opti or atti mode, to avoid sudden unexpected speed changes.
If it is in atti mode and looses signal, it will drift horizontally, possibly very fast.
It does not change altitude when flying past a waterfall.

Right. The home point will not be set until the Spark has a good GPS connection.
