I just checked out the mushroom cap time lapse. Cool.

It looks like a mushroom cloud from an atomic bomb.

Made that a while ago after a few fellow amateur mycologists and I were discussing if a mushroom's stipe grows from top or the base. Seems once the veil is broken it continues from there.
Have a look at the Stinkhorn timelapse further down.
