Hyperlapse and time lapse should forever be accelerated video.
Too jumpy and "stop motion-esque"

Are you talking about the little wobbles that are pitch/yaw movements when exaggerated by the sped-up motion?

No, the "stop motion-esque" appearance is annoying.
Can't stand it.
Plus just too darn fast.
And finally, the hyperlapse...4 seconds for 5 minutes of work?
I can get over a minute with accelerated video, much smoother too.

I like accelerated video much more also, you have more control and can play with different elements, versus an already finished product, that may not have the speed/effect you want.

My brain says:
Timelapse is when camera is stationary and subject is moving..
Hyperlapse is when camera is moving and subject is stationary..

Motionlapse, stopmotion and speedramps is another ballgame.

I like your result, PM... as usual ;)
