    Gloves that work with touchscreen

Neat! I love that they are waterproof, but I guess you probably shouldn't fly in the rain either. Though I do have a Note 8 that is waterproof and this would help if I got caught in the rain on a bike ride or something. ;-)

    Gloves that work with touchscreen

I always wondered if a super warm but fingerless glove worked well. And bonus points for the recommendation from up north!

    Gloves that work with touchscreen

Maybe once they launch their drone delivery service we can help pilot the swarm and get a discount!

    Gloves that work with touchscreen

Ha, your comment in my introduction post is what inspired me to re-ask the question in a dedicated thread. Let me know how they end up working for you! My new year's resolution is to buy less random stuff on Amazon unless I REALLY need it. But I also don't want to freeze my hands off when it's...

    Gloves that work with touchscreen

Seeing as how the east coast just had a bomb cyclone and frigid temps to follow I was just curious what other people have found for gloves that work with the touchscreen while flying. I know you don't have to interact with the screen to actually fly if you have the remote, but sometimes you need...

Hello from Virginia - GIS to drone

The touch functionality doesn't work well in the cold or the gloves just don't work well in the cold (at keeping the hands warm)? If its the latter than that is still better than nothing, if the former than that is indeed a problem.

Hello from Virginia - GIS to drone

Amazon sure has an answer for almost any issue doesn't it? ;-) I was mainly being stubborn and trying to keep using my old gloves under the guise of "if it ain't broke..." but then I realized that in this case they are indeed "broke". So a pair of "drone gloves" is in the near future for sure...

Hello from Virginia - GIS to drone

I do have the remote for sure, but with things like changing the camera settings you need to be able to use the phone (Galaxy S6 Edge in my case) and I don't have the "fancy" gloves with touch capabilities while worn. Might have to invest in a pair!

Hello from Virginia - GIS to drone

Thanks! I wish it weren't this cold as I'd love to get more flight time in, but as soon as I get it up and take my gloves off so I can use the touch screen on my phone my fingers are starting to go numb. It will be a long march into spring.

Modified DJI Go 4, extra features available for Spark

Exactly. I think as long as it is known that the hardware is more fragile than the bigger birds then people can test the other modes when appropriate precautions can be taken. From what I have read on here it seems like a lot of people think the Spark acts like it is still in beta, so we are...

Modified DJI Go 4, extra features available for Spark

Gotcha, so the main thing holding people back from using modded apps would probably be the lack of record for documentation's sake in terms of warranty repair. I'm not too worried about that as I am looking to get the most out of the Spark (so long as it can handle it).

Hello from Virginia - GIS to drone

Hello fellow SparkPilots from a currently chilly Virginia! I just got my first drone after years of following the DIY UAV/UAS community and seeing the technology advance. I come from the GIS world so I am very use to looking at the world from above in the form of aerial, satellite, and hopefully...

Modified DJI Go 4, extra features available for Spark

That's a good point on sensor redundancy. I just got a Spark and have wondered why they would restrict these modes that are available on other drones. I am contemplating between this "modified" app and something more sanctioned, like Autopilot. I will probably/hopefully end up getting a Mavic at...

OTG and Andriod users (phone versus tablet)

Back to the OP's point. I have seen so many posts/threads on OTG-gate and while yes we all know that there is no "official" support for OTG cable on the Spark, but as reported there is proof that it did work with DJI Go version 4.1.15 and lower. I personally am in the camp of wanting to use...
