Hi All, I have done around 150 flights, and started to think about the longlivity of the Spark. Has anyone worn out their motors yet, and had to do some replacements?

I use both Litchi and DJI GO, for free flight I use DJI GO, and for waypoints I use Litchi. I do think that I get better signal strength and distance with DJI Go, seem to lose connection quicker with Litchi.

I use Litchi for some flights where the DJI app does not support what I want to do... Waypoint is one, Focus on subject and course lock (when you want to fly parallel to something like a road). Litchi does not support OTG, so my distance with Litchi is only a fraction of the DJI app with otg...

I saw towards the end on those flags that the wind was really going, was it not possibly the wind playing a part as well pushing it into the building? I know my Spark does quite well in the wind, but those heavy flags were really going in the wind.

I have not flown with my phone, but once pressed the pause button unknowingly on the remote... It just stopped midair, nothing was working, and I got into a bit of a panic... I pressed everything, and after I got to the pause button things went back to normal. You did not perhaps by accident did...

Same here, up in the air in about 30 seconds after the drone is switched on... Both in DJI GO 4 and Litchi.

Awesome footage and flying.... The quality of video from the Spark is really impressive.!

The best advice I can give you is do a proper compass calibration far away from everything.... I am from Jhb, and mine dropped into atti frequent, until I properly calibrated the compass. 40 flights later, not a single atti incident...

Nice flying, amazing how stable the video is considering the apparently strong wind looking at the movement of the leaves in the trees.

I agree, probably a combination of both. My thinking is that 50 hours in sport mode will be more taxing on the motors than 50 hours of slow flying. 50 hours in sport mode will travel a lot further than in slow mode, which might assist in guaging motor stress. But bottom line, if I can get over...

I sincerely hope my Spark gets to Vako's 1220km!!! That would be fantastic!

Hi all, I have noticed that I have done 24km of flying so far with my Spark, all in a month... What do you guys think I will get out of it? Who has done the most amount of flying before it gave in, it must have some kind of motor life, I assume? Regards

Hi all, I tested the waypoints in Litchi today, and it worked flawlessly. I have however noticed that the radio signal quality was only 60% close in, and further away dropped to 24%. Flew with the DJI Go app the same distance the next flight - and had 100% signal the whole time. Litchi did not...
