It really depends on your flight plans and what you are doing at the time. You would not want your RTH height set at 100 feet if there would be a time during your flight that the drone could not fly to that height if there was an obstacle above it. RTH at currant height option maybe better...

Try charging the battery while it is still in the drone. See if the batttery charges correctly then. I have purchased batteries that where defective out of the box before so you could have a defective battery

You do not need the internet to fly. If you are wanting maps to show on your screen while flying you can bring the area you plan to fly in while you have access tot he internet and save them to your device that way you can see the map when flying without internet
