I have the Smatree for Spark. Good quality, has worked really well for me.

May have been lucky that the battery came off so maybe there was no power to fry the circuits when in the creek.

I have red tail hawks in my back yard. I photograph them with a 300mm lens, but can still get pretty close. I think they are pretty bold birds, or just used to seeing us humans around now. Here is one sitting on my pool umbrella.
