    Which drone next?

I have both the Mavic Pro and the Spark. Both are fun to fly and each has pros and cons, but the pros outweigh any cons. Go for the Mavic Pro. You get a tremendous amount for your money - and since the Mavic Pro has been out for a year and a half, you also get a great drone with a lot of the...

Best waypoint app, with coord's, for a Spark???

Been using Litchi for three years - great app and lots of options. Also, you can use Litchi's Mission Hub on your desktop (or Laptop) to plan your autonomous flight path and POI's and then sync it with the device you use to fly your Spark. Makes a big difference in terms of ease and functionality.

I swallowed my pride and got an iPad.

Hi All, Wow, this thread is right on target for me! Last Saturday, I was browsing in Best Buy waiting for the wife to finish up in Target next door. While walking around, noticed that Best Buy had the Apple IPad Mini 4 with 128gb on sale that night only for $249, new in the box. Some type of...

Who uses Polar Pro Lens Filters?

I have been using the Spark Filter 3 Pack from PolarPro. I use the Fixed Polarizer a lot and it makes a difference with richer colors. It is especially good on sunny days when flying over/near water. The 3 pack also has a ND8 and ND16, which covers my needs nicely. Quality product.

    Litchi Waypoint assistance

I use Mission Hub to plan the flights and I save them in that program. Lot more detail to work with on a computer monitor. Then, it syncs across all of my devices that I have Litchi on. I then use either a tablet or my smart phone when actually implementing the flights in the field. Has...

Traveling to Huatulco, Mexico with my Spark - My experience with customs in Mexico

John, What I was originally saying was that because I was unlucky enough to get a red light, my luggage was searched. The custom's agent found the Spark in my backpack. I have been to Mexico many times, and I probably received the "red" light only two or three times in my lifetime...

Traveling to Huatulco, Mexico with my Spark - My experience with customs in Mexico

Nice video. My experience in Mexico hinged on my luggage being inspected. If I would have received a "green light" when going through customs, my bags would have sailed through without any issue. In the end, it worked out fine. I've been to Cabo a couple of times also (unfortunately...

Nice landscape photos. The second sunset pano almost looks like a winter scene!

Traveling to Huatulco, Mexico with my Spark - My experience with customs in Mexico

Just thought I would let you know of my recent experience in Mexico with my Spark. Traveled to Huatulco, a resort area on the Pacific Ocean. I read up on things related to drones before I left and knew there was a chance I would be charged a VAT (Value Added Tax) of 15% of the value of the...

Abandoned barn/farmstead - video using Litchi waypoints

My video editor is Wondershare Filmora. It does not have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive editors have, but it does a decent job. I think it was under $40 when I purchased it last year. After I am done editing the video in Wondershare Filmora, it has an option to...

Abandoned barn/farmstead - video using Litchi waypoints

Was coming home one day and ran across an abandoned barn/farmstead. Had my trusty Spark with me, so I put together a quick Litchi Waypoint mission - 10 waypoints with 1 point of interest (caving in barn). Pretty interesting subject. Wind was 10 to 15 mph and that, combined with the Spark's 2...

LITCHI for Spark - a quick review about the waypoint function.

I've been using Litchi for awhile now, and I always go slowly with no abrupt turns. Use the curved turns in settings. Here is a recent video testing out Litchi for the Spark - about 10 waypoints and 1 point of interest.. I think the Spark did pretty good given its 2 axis gimbal and the wind...

    NewEgg Refurb Flymore combo

Hello all, Just received an email from NewEgg - they have the Spark Fly More combo (Refurb) for $359 plus you get a $10 gift card. Pretty good deal. I've bought a Mavic Pro refurb from New Egg last year and it was an excellent purchase
