LITCHI for Spark - a quick review about the waypoint function.

Yes, you are correct, the uploaded video is the downstream but the movements were similar on the original. I love the Spark and use it much more than my Phantom. I never expected the Spark to do waypoints as smooth as my Phantom because of its two axis limitations. I guess if I fly the same...

LITCHI for Spark - a quick review about the waypoint function.

Hi all. So I went out and tried the latest Litchi 2.5.1 for iOS together with my Spark (FCC modded) to test out the function Waypoint Mission. I have previously used Litchi with waypoints on Phantom 3 Professional and Mavic Pro with quite good results. (The only thing not working optimal with...

Litchi 2.5 is no longer in "Beta Status"

I can confirm that Litchi 2.5 (iOS) also brings up the same Region Change dialogue box as DJI Go with the same ability to press “Cancel”. And the FCC (11 channels in 2,4 GHZ) have been verified. (I am in Europe). I have the latest firmware on AC, RC and the latest DJI Go version.

CE to FCC Mode without App Modification (Android)

Or just borrow an Android phone from a friend, do the gps thingy and return to using your iPhone. That’s what I do. Works fine.

Is it safe/healthy to fly five batteries in a row with the spark?

I had an all day video shoot for a tv show. This was a P3Pro. I burned through 20 charges that day (6 batteries recharged) My opinion is that the aircraft can fly as long as you have charged batteries. But the used batteries may need some cooling time after use before recharged.

Spark pilots with other prosumer drone?

I have a Phantom 3 Standard and a Mavic. But I fly the Spark the most. If I’m on a hike with a group of other people I can deploy the Spark (hand launch) without even stopping. Love it.

Spark spent a night in the ocean!

So it's safe to say that it's not safe to fly "normally" yet even with the .600 FW......(?)

    New, New Update

The stopping of the motors when tilted is probably removed because some Sparks fell out of the sky when braking too fast in combination of high winds making them tilt. Also I believe you are to stop whe motors when landed by holding throttle down only. The CSC will probably tip it over.

This "Forced" Update Isn't Such A Bad Thing-Quickshots Work Great

The Quickshots worked for most people before 0.600 as well. DJI found out that in some regions they were not working correctly. Don't ask me why, but it's great that it works for everyone now.

    Firmware improved performance

I also had to use Assistant 2 to get AC updated. After that RC and batteries went fine through DJI Go/WiFi

Why OTG and whats the fuzz with Europe and Wi-Fi?

I see. Again, thanks for clarifying. ;-)

Why OTG and whats the fuzz with Europe and Wi-Fi?

Thanks! Any idea why many threads talk about problems in Europe regarding using some wifi bands? I don't seem to have problems of any kind. Don't seem to need OTG either.

Why OTG and whats the fuzz with Europe and Wi-Fi?

Hello from Norway (yes, Europe) I have been flying the Spark without any cable and it seems to fly just fine. I am able to choose 2,4 GHZ and select frequency if I want to (yesterday I had ch 9) and I can fly at the default 5,8 GHZ and had freq. 149. I assume the band (2,4 vs 5,8) is the...
