3DR SiteScan EE - Works perfectly and is FREE

Thanks for the demo. I've been running some Pix4D missions and the results are pretty amazing. Have you used it as well ? If yes how would you compare the solutions ?

Pix4D is amazing and for the Spark better. SiteScan is a different ball game.
If you do crosshatch and circular scans, Pix4D is perfect. Vertical scans, I prefer SiteScan

I'm also into this, obviously Spark has limited flight-time and not the best camera for mapping/ortho.
Android here, Drone Harmony and Bimostitch are my tools.
Main purpose for me, is to "learn" the basics. Would be so much easier when upgrading to Mavic.

Just make sure your overlap is enough (minimal 75%) and 1.2pix/cm. That's what I use

Thanks for the valuable info!
I cheated big time..
To keep the flighttime in 10 min range, I set the Spark to take pictures without stopping and 20% overlap.
I later found out DH will allow batt swap and continue plan!
Do you recommend 2 sec interval or software auto interval?
If >99 wp's, Spark will stop midair for uploading rest of flight plan.

Most programs will work with multiple batteries.
The amount of pictures depends most on your speed and elevation.
If you fly below, lets say 50 meters, 2 secs is good. If you fly higher, 3 or 4 is enough
But save your efforts for the Mavic Pro... Much more capable
