4.1.22 and Spark without OTG Cable

Ok several weeks have passed and I'm now seeing YouTube videos of people stating that is has been stable using 4.1.22 without an OTG cable. Is this the case for folks here as well? Are you guys experiencing or converting to not using the OTG cable? Basically is it truly stable?

I haven't gotten a chance to fly my Spark with 4.1.22 nor 4.1.15 since I have installed/downgraded due to winter weather.

I'm just curious since time has passed whether people are now accepting the non use of the OTG cable and above all getting good results.

Mine has been fine without OTG. I’m on iOS, can’t speak for Android.

Yesterday’s Go4 update has given full functionality to otg, if you’re interested.

Umm. Let me check. I didn't know there was further updates. I'm talking about Android version.

There are threads on here about it. DJI Go 4 update - 4.2.4 update on both IOS and Android

I fly my spark with 4.1.22 and no otg and it has flew flawlessly. I use a note 8.

My does not work with the org cable now on Android. No data. And connection cuts in and out. The update sucks

Ok so the experience without OTG didn't really improve.

Using Android NVIDIA K1. It has improved however, not as stable as OTG connection used to be. I do not see a new GO 4 as of yet.

What version are you all on? The latest version of Go4 is 4.2.4 which was released on Tuesday. It looks like some of you are still using older version. This version re-enabled OTG, and people using it are getting positive results.

No, Android is also 4.2.4, however there is still no OTG support

Did anyone else didn't receive the today update since hack the official app? Recently erase, wipe all the app cache but still had the 4.1.4 version ....

Hey Dude

I have an Ipad mini 2 and got 4.2.4 tried to fly with Wifi to phane and remote works Great...

Also bench tested OTG and looks like It all works 100%...

My question Is I have never used OTG Is it Fine to use ,has there ever been any Glitchs from using instead of the proper WIFI
connection.. Just asking seeing as It comes up saying this Accessory may not be supported..

I updated yesterday when I posted this. Then again I see another update 4.2.4. Hmm. I'm assuming OTG is still not working for Android.

Honestly don’t know.. I’ve never had a problem with WiFi, so never used otg. Gonna give it a go tomorrow and see what happens.
