Looking at purchasing Spark. Does otg cable work with latest DJI Go app with ios?

I haven't used it with my mini4 for a while but others on this Forum said YES with iOS.

NO for Android.

Not with Android, DJIs new pimp (apple) are not working on a fix for that. So you would have to downgrade to .15. That is what I did and don't plan to update.

It used to work with my iPhone 6S, with the iPad Mini it repeatedly tells me not supported no matter how many times I say ok, the wfi is sufficient for what I use it for...

It works well with my iPhone 7+ and my iPad4 mini. I still use the OTG cable,but not for range, but because there is a lot of WiFi and phones in my area( well any area, now days). So I turn airplane mode on, and iOS turns the Wifi off, and then connect to the controller with the cable, and fly without any problems.

I use the ipad mini2 and use OTG all the time without any problems. Tried to use WiFi once and I use a tablet holder, almost flew away. Had interference warning. Was almost uncontrollable.
