If I turn on airplane mode, will the little Google maps work in the dji go 4 app?

Unless you have the map preloaded.
I fly with a mini4, WiFi only tablet.
If I want a map of the area I'm flying in, I have to cache the map first by going to the area of the map at home with the home WiFi and the DJI Go4 will cache the image in the window and will be available when I go on sight. If I have multiple stops, I may be out of luck because you want to zoom in on the area your flying in for greater detail.
I don't let the Spark go too far and pretty much keep it VLOS anyway.
With Android I think you actually download a map?
