Hi there. Version 4.1.14 for android OTG I believe

I use the latest software and firmware and it all works ok with my Samsung7.

what android are you using ?
I ask because version 4.3.1 needed a device with at least 4gb ram (i'm assuming the Samsung7 has that)
I've been using 4.1.15 with my nexus 7 and all is running well - so far
