Okay, it's really the Bleriot Memorial. The landing site of the first flight from France to England in1909. He compleated the flight in 37 minutes in his Type X1 monoplane. (Good job there were no trees back then!))

Those guys sure had a lot of guts back then flying in a wooden crate. ?

I've had a lifelong love of aviation. The French were on the vanguard of many "firsts". It's a field where each advancement is built on the shoulders of giants. Thanks for sharing.

Great pics.
Frenchies were doing their job also in argentina. Like antoine de saint exupery with the aeropostal along the Patagonia.
They were also pioneers like henri bregi in 1910, first flight in argentina.
Same year also in argentina, Emile Aubrun, first night flight in the world.
