Cable connection between a USB-C phone and the Spark micro-USB

Hi guys,

I just received my Spark fly-more combo which is my first drone. I haven't flown it yet but have been reading quite a bit and as far as i understand it would seem more reliable to hard connect my smartphone to the RC via a cable.
My smartphone is a Samsung a5 2017 which has a USB-C port supporting OTG. From what I understand the Spark doesn't support OTG so my question is: Do I need an OTG connection between my phone and the Spark or would a male USB-C to male micro-USB simple cable would work?

If my question doesn't make sense, how do I connect an USB-C smartphone to the Spark in the simplest way

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered in some other thread ; I browsed some of the related topics but couldn't find an answer

I have understood that the control if it supports the OTG cable, what they recommend is another cable more direct like usb-c connection and the normal that these cables if there are. I do not know if I'll help you with my answer.

I picked up a USB C to micro USB on Amazon and it works with my pixel xl just fine.
