This is probably old news for a lot of you but I just figured it out, so I thought I would share. Since the spark takes a long time for the charging to begin, my Aukey which you have to initiate charging by pushing the button was timing out. My duh moment was when I realized you just keep pushing the button until the spark starts charging.
