Compass calibration

i have seen videos where people rotate there body to calibrate and I have also heard this is the wrong way to do it.
The other way is to just stand still and do the rotation with there hands.
Will both ways have the same effect?

I think the point is to rotate the drone. Whether you rotate along with it is irrelevant.

I agree with this assessment. If it needed to be that precise I think we would be failing it much more often.
