Controller Reset

Does anyone know how to do a password reset on a Spark controller? I bought a used Spark and controller and while the Spark works fine I can't get the controller to connect. It won't scan the QR and I can't connect manually because I get an "invalid password" message.
I can connect the controller from my original Spark to the new (used) Spark as well as my original one, and I can't connect the new (used) controller to either Spark. I can't find help in the DJI tutorials or in any of a multitude of YouTubes.
I'm stumped.

It has information about connecting and changing / reset the password.

If it helps, the default password for the remote is12341234.

You may have to watch the video a couple of times because Ty talks fast.
