Da Vinci Resolve 14 Tips

Hi All,

I've been trying to get Resolve and Spark videos to play nicely.

I can edit the files ok (trim, order etc) but I can't seem to get any fades/effects or titles to work without getting the dreaded "GPU error"

I've tried these tips on optimized media

But I can't help but think its got something to do with the spark files or a basic setting, as it isn't that laggy in the timeline, it just can't do any effects.

If you are adding effects you may want to try render cache (user selected or auto). This works very well when your timeline gets full of many clips and effects. Having said this, I don't consider fades an effect, so you may have another issue. Make sure you have latest beta version (currently 6).
