Decrease video lag if you don't save video to phone?

Does anyone know if you have less video lag on your phone if you don't record video to your phone? I got a Spark for Christmas but have not had a chance to fly or try this becuase of the freezing temps. Planning on using my android (Galaxy s6) on latest Go 4 app without OTG. Thanks

Yes, your mobile device will run more efficiently when it's not caching video locally.
