DJI GO 4 App disappeared from Google Store

What has been yesterday does not interest anyone, what counts is today. Fact based on app store rates is users of iOS are more dissatisfied with the app than Android users.

Apple store rates : 2.9, 4.3K Ratings
Google store rates: 3.1, 42,1K Ratings

Second fact DJI has chosen Android as the operating system for their new SmartController. So DJI and most DJI pilots on world seems to prefer Android. It is a myth long past that iOS is better or more stable. You can accept or deny these facts.

DJI chose Android for the controller because there is no licensing fee for open source software. They would have preferred iOS but didn't want to pay for it. They chose it because it was cheap.

This is pure speculation of you, no facts.

The FACT is that using Apple's iOS was not an option for DJI to use for a highly customized piece of hardware

Android = open source, skinnable, no license fee

iOS = walled garden, unmodifiable, not for sale at any price

Speculation again. Is there an official statement from DJI about this? Has DJI ever officially stated why the choice was made for Android and not iOS? No? then all you wrote about it remains your personal opinion.

No. The official statement comes from Apple. It's not up to DJI. iOS not an option for their proprietary controller.

Apple does not give DJI (or other hardware manufacturers) permission to modify iOS on their hardware. iOS can only be modified by Apple (such as CarPlay for in dash receivers). The DJI controller uses a heavily modified and skinned version of Android.

Apple's licensing agreement does not allow for a third party to use iOS on non-Apple hardware without permission.

This is well documented and zero speculation. Very easy to confirm.

The only real facts here:
1. Based on app store rates are users of iOS more dissatisfied with the app than Android users.

Apple store rates : 2.9, 4.3K Ratings
Google store rates: 3.1, 42,1K Ratings

2. DJI has chosen Android as the operating system for their new SmartController.

You are repeatedly ignoring the relevant facts and repeating yourself. This doesn't forward the conversation.

Obviously that is your intent. I give up. I won't be trolled

You just seem to be confusing what facts are and what your own opinion is. That's why I've reiterated it to you.
