Do I need to charge this also?

I am kind of new to drones and I have a Spark drone. I have charged the batteries but I am wondering if I need to charge the controler thing. I have attached a picture of what it is I am talking about. It has a port for charging but not sure if that is what the port is for.

Yes, the Spark remote controller also contains a rechargeable battery.

Yes it also gets charged there.

Be mindful when plugging the charger cord into the remote.

It's easy to damage if the cable is inserted wrong.

The cable is trapezoid shaped and the controller is rectangular in shape.
